1. Will Honestchew meaty stain?
Just like real bones or meaty chews, HonestChew Meaty will get a little messy - So make sure to save your carpets or couches! We recommend enjoying Meaty outside or indoors on an easy-to-clean surface like wood, tile, or a washable pup-friendly mat.
2. What is the Honestchew core made from?
Just three food-grade, plant based ingredients: Cellulose (plant fiber), veggie oil, and veggie broth!
3. Is Honestchew or Honestchew Meaty entirely edible?
Great question! The coating on Honestchew Meaty is edible, but the toy itself is not intended for consumption. Similar to real bones, Honestchew is great for chewing, but not for eating!
4. When do I need to replace Honestchew?
All great chews need a refresh eventually. We recommend replacing HonestChew once about 30–40% of the chew itself has worn away. (Your pup can lick up 100% of the meaty coating!) A good rule of thumb: when the points of the Antler or Y-Gnawt are gone, it’s time for a re-up. You can also subscribe for regular deliveries on a schedule that works for you and your pup.
5. Can I leave my dog alone with Honestchew?
While the HonestChew is designed to completely occupy your pup, we always recommend supervision with any of our toys! If you are concerned for any reason, we encourage you to consult with your vet since they know you and your pup best.
6. Is Honestchew safe for aging teeth?
The HonestChew was designed to be a safer and softer chewing experience than natural bones, and is best for moderate chewers. The flaking that you may see is all part of making this chew safer for those chompers! While the HonestChew is a safer chewing experience for all dogs, if you have concerns about your pup’s teeth we recommend checking with your vet before giving them any chew toy. We designed HonestChew to be a gentler, safer alternative to natural bones, thanks to its flaking (not splintering) design. It’s best for moderate chewers.
7. Is Honestchew long lasting?
Yes, Honestchew is meant to completely occupy your pup over many chew sessions! If you find your dog is more productive with their Honestchew than you would like, we recommend shorter chew sessions to extend the life of your toy, and make sure your pup doesn't have too much of a good thing.
8. Is Honestchew or Honestchew meaty ok for puppies?
Honestchew and Honestchew Meaty are medium-hard toys, so while they work for most dogs of all ages, we recommend checking with your vet if you are concerned about the hardness on your puppy or senior dog's teeth, since they know you and your pup best!
9. Can I bake or microwave the Honestchew?
We totally understand wanting your pup's treat to be piping hot! That being said, because of the material used, we do not recommend heating or cooking your Honestchew in any way.

Antler/YGnawt:
• Small: Recommended for dogs up to 25lbs
9.75 inches (Length) x 6 inches (Width) x 1.5 inches (Height)
• Medium: Recommended for dogs between 26 - 60lbs
10.75 inches (Length) x 6.5 inches (Width) x 1.75 inches (Height)
• Large: Recommended for dogs 60lbs and above

• Small: Recommended for dogs up to 25lbs
