Why was my order charged twice?Updated 12 days ago
First off, thank you for your order! but, it definitely takes some of the excitement away if you see a mystery second charge on your payment method. No worries, we're here to help!
These second charges are temporary authorization charges, and are something we've seen coming from purchases that use Apple Pay, Shop Pay, or Mastercard as their method of payment, and do not come from Woof.
If this happens to you, you will see both charges while they are still in the pending stage with your financial institution, and the additional charge will fall off of your account before it goes through, as it is a temporary charge that is automatically refunded back to you once the correct charge goes through on your account.
We recommend contacting your payment method first for any questions if you see this on your account, and are happy to send over a screenshot of your order invoice for reference, including all taxes, fees and shipping.
